Winner of the Complicated Watch Category at the SIAR 2015
From Dresden to Mexico City, the A. Lange & Sohne minute repeater watch Zeitwerk has captivated the minds of the expert members of the SIAR 2015 jury as well as the most important watch collectors in Latin America.

Blessed with a new decimal twist indication on the Minute Repeater complication, the Zeitwerk owns identity marks that clearly identify it with A.Lange & Sohne historical features such as the use of large numerical windows for time display, inspired in the Semper Opera Clock with a large continuous second sub dial at six along with the strong Teutonic design of its dial and physical presence of the exposed gongs with the large hammers.

The large case, made in platinum 950, with a diameter of 44.2 mm protects an exquisite manufacture movement, Caliber L043.5 completely designed, made and assembled in the A.Lange & Sohne manufacture works at Glashütte, Saxony. Visible through the sapphire crystal back, the manual wound caliber sports traditional features such as decorated German silver bridges, gold chatons and a hand engraved balance cock.

Extremely limited in its production, the A.Lange & Sohne Zeitwerke was awarded the Complicated Watch category among important players. Christian Salas, A.Lange & Sohne Regional Brand Manager for Latin American and Caribbean, was at hand to receive the award from the SIAR 2015 Jury and express his satisfaction for such an important prize which will be shared with the dedicated team of watchmakers and engineers that created such an horological masterpiece.
