Parmigiani Tonda 1950 Rose gold Meteorite

Parmigiani Tonda 1950 Rose gold Meteorite
Parmigiani’s new Tonda 1950 Rose gold Meteorite follows on from the limited edition unveiled at the SIHH 2015 with a titanium middle.

Unpolished, irregular and fragmented – such are the characteristics of a meteorite. Yet, it is this captivating rock that forms the dial of Parmigiani's new rose gold Tonda 1950.
Every step involved in working with meteor rock is a delicate process. It is difficult to machine as it is harder than normal rock; as its mineral structure is unpredictable and varying, conventional processes cannot be used.

The Tonda 1950 possess’ the ultra-thin PF 701 calibre which owes its slim dimensions to an eccentric platinum micro-oscillating weight, housed within the confines of the movement. Measuring just 2.6 mm thick, this feat of watchmaking prowess ensures this family of timepieces deserves its place in the ultra-thin collection.

The Tonda 1950 in the titanium version was presented last year during the SIHH 2015 and is now matched with rose gold. The timepiece is equipped with a blue alligator strap and an ardillon buckle.
