JAEGER-LECOULTRE CELEBRATES THE YEAR OF THE MONKEY IN SOUTH COAST PLAZA
06.02.2016
From February 1st to 14th, 2016, swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre will present a special exhibit of timepieces at South Coast Plaza Mall, Costa Mesa, California, setting a festive ambiance for the New Year for its Chinese clientele

Visitors will discover the Manufacture’s best creations in a sparkly and vibrant décor, highlighting the finest watchmaking techniques and artistic mastery of Métiers Rares, such as enamelling, gemsetting and engraving.

Exquisitely crafted, the highlighted Swiss timepieces will feature moon phases, sky charts, tourbillon and other fascinating complications. Among the stars, the exhibition will include the Rendez-Vous Moon, the Master Ultra Thin Calendar, the Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon, the Duomètre Quantième Lunaire with a Grand Feu enameled dial.

What if we allowed the moon to guide our days? In the center of the starry night sky with its halo of grace and light, the delicate mother-of-pearl moon disc takes its place at the heart of the Rendez-Vous Moon women watch. A marvelous expression of the jewelry and watchmaking skills of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture's master craftsmen, this timepiece imposes a captivating image for the eyes with sparkling diamonds taking part in this celebration of light.

With its elegant, delicately proportioned case, the Master Ultra Thin Calendar features a variety of calendar functions: the traditional hour, minute, and small second hands, a date hand indication and windows for the day, month and moon phases indications, all presented in an understated, timeless design.

Isn't the tourbillon evoking the finest hours of fine watchmaking? While this iconic Jaeger-LeCoultre complication occupies a substantial space of the dial, its execution called for a wealth of finesse. The Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon is an authentic precision instrument mesmerizing architecture that stands out against the pure, uncluttered dial of this creation in movement.

In keeping with the extremely high quality of the Dual-Wing movement, this Duomètre Quantième Lunaire features an immaculate dial crafted in Grand Feu Enamel by Jaeger-LeCoultre artisans. This truly spectacular appearance lies in the actual concept behind the Dual-Wing movement, distinguished by two independent energy sources: the first entirely dedicated to the precise measurement of the passing of time, the second devoted to the display of the functions, hours, minutes, seconds, calendar and moon phase - synchronized by the jumping seconds hands mechanism.

Jaeger-LeCoultre invites you to discover its savoir-faire and its icons during this special celebration in South Coast Plaza from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
